Yet again, I've left it wayyy too long since my last post, oops. But don't worry I'm back! With a new monthly favourites of everything I've been loving during October.
Let's start with clothing, this month the sun came out and cranked things up to the twenties and I've been absolutely loving it, I've already been to the beach twice! So of course I had to buy a new swimsuit, duh, and with H&M finally making it to New Zealand I pick up this perfectly fitting and flattering two piece for like, $30?! Mind blowing.
Next a few things that my wonderful Mum treated to me to (I know, I'm so lucky!). These great new shoes from Keds are pretty comfy, though they took a while for me to wear them in, but know they're amazing and practically go with every outfit. Also this amaaaazing embroidered denim jacket from Just Jeans, it fits me like a glove and anything with floral embroidery I am obsessed with! These also both go great with my fave Glassons sunnies that I've had for probably over a year now.
On to beauty. I have discovered a holy grail moisturiser that has blown me away: the Garnier Pure Active Mattifying Gel Moisturiser. Because it's a gel, it absorbs immediately and even doubles as a primer, it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth and makes my makeup go on so so easy, I love it! Next, hair care. As you know, I am a bleached blonde so hair care is so so important for me and these two hair masks/treatments are honestly life changing.The Lush mask - H'Suan Wen Hua - is fantastic as a weekly treatment, it just hydrates and makes my hair feel so smooth I love it. Matched with this Schwarzkopf Fibreplex treatment that I use maybe every couple of weeks leaves my hair feeling replenished and like it's been completely rebuilt. And the fave lipstick of the month award goes to MAC Chili, the most perfectly wearable orangey-red, 10/10.
To finish off these favourites a nice read, Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven. A easy-to-read sweet coming-of-age story with friendship, drama and romance by one of my favourite authors. I highly recommend her books if you want something nice to immerse yourself in.
