but first, tea.

There is no other small thing in life that gives me such sweet solace as a cup of tea. Had a bad day? have a cup of tea. Is it raining outside? have a cup of tea. Watching TV? go on and make a cuppa. Just holding a nice warm mug and having the steam tickle your face automatically relaxes my mind.

I am definitely more of a hot drink person: coffee, tea, hot chocolate or even a glass of warm milk, I'll have any time of the day, any season of the year (though they are even better when it's a bit chilly outside!). Tea is just one of those things that's such a pure comfort for me, it makes me think of my mum and her copious amounts of tea that she drinks throughout the day, I know she has at least 3 before she leaves the house in the morning, a trait that has since been passed down to me.

Now I'm not fussy when it comes to tea. I'll pretty much drink any tea under the sun: herbal, fruit, green, black, white. But I do have a bit of a soft spot for the herbal/fruit type teas, there's just so many different options and new things to try and they're so delicious. The fruit ones are great way to curb a sweet craving and the herbal ones have brilliant healing properties, they're fantastic for aiding digestion and combating sickness. My favourite brands for these teas are:
Red Seal - they have an amaaaaazing selection of fruit teas. T2 - this brand have they're own tea stores all over and wow they are beautiful, and always have free tastings! They also have amazing flavours like Caramel Brownie & Banana Bread. Ritual Tea Company - a New Zealand brand that hand-blends organic tea for their customers, my favourite is the strawberry and hibiscus!

Remember, there is always time for tea. Courtney xx
