leg & booty workout!

As you may know by now, I love my fitness. There is nothing more therapeutic to me than smashing out a great workout and getting all sweaty, and leg day is definitely my favourite. I am a big fan of weight training as I wanna try and grow my muscles and get all strong and fit, also it is just the most enjoyable form of exercise for me, I'm not a cardio type of person, no way.

So here is my go to workout at the moment when it comes to legs. Bare in mind that I'm no professional when it comes to this stuff but this is just what works for me and I thought you guys might be interested.

In my first set of moves I use the squat rack and alternate between squats and deadlifts: SQUATS 10-12 reps 3-4 sets(I use a 40(ish)kg weight) DEADLIFTS 10 reps 3-4 sets

The next set of moves I do in a circuit type workout, so I do all of them in one set and then repeat them all 2 or 3 more times: BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS 8-10 reps each leg, 3-4 sets(I use 10-14kg of weight) KETTLEBELL SWINGS 10-12 reps, 3-4 sets (12kg) GOBLET SQUAT 10-12 reps, 3-4 sets (15kg) SUMO SQUATS 10-12 reps, 3-4 sets (18kg)

I then finish my workout with a skipping burnout, so I pretty much just skip (using a jump rope) until I feel like I'm gonna die haha. This workout is so so good and I always feel so proud and accomplished afterwards. Obviously use weights that suit your own level of fitness, these weights are just the ones I use. When using a squat rack, always ask one of the trainers at your gym or a professional to teach you how to, you always need to make sure that your form is right otherwise you can risk hurting yourself and we so don't want that to happen. Also always always always remember to stretch!!! before AND after your workout, you will be so thankful for it. Safety first!!

I hope you guys gained something out of this post, let me know if this was helpful at all! Courtney xx
